Previously in Chapter 6 Alex was abducted by the reptilians and he escaped their imprisonment and joined the rebel group called The Resistance. He came to find out about 1s Captain of the resistance Mr. Z and Avery being second in command.
Alex was assigned his first mission by Avery in Avalon City to evacuate a few hostages from the Demons’ hideout. Rig, Mia, and Alex successfully extracted the hostages.

Mr. Z leaned forward, his expression serious yet determined. “We’ve received intel about a parcel located in the Pleiadians’ hideout. It’s crucial we retrieve it before it falls into the wrong hands,” he explained, his voice low and steady.
Avery nodded, absorbing the gravity of the situation. “Understood. Who’s my partner on this one?” he asked, already mentally preparing for the mission ahead.
“Rig will accompany you,” Mr. Z replied, his tone indicating his trust in both Avery and Rig’s abilities. “And Avery, there’s something you need to know. Our contact at the Pleiadians’ hideout is Custance Roche. She’s… different,” he hesitated, choosing his words carefully.

Avery replied: Yes sir we’re on it! And after the farewell conversation with Mr. Z, Avery started to prepare his mind for the next mission.
