Previously in Chapter 7 Alex was abducted by the reptilians and he escaped their imprisoned and joined the rebel group called “The Resistance”. He came to find out about 1s Captain of the resistance Mr. Z and Avery being second in command.
Alex was assigned on his first mission by Avery in Avalon City to evacuate few hostages from Demons hideout. Rig, Mia, Alex performed their operation successfuly to extract the hostages, Avery was assigned on a new mission by Mr. Z

Avery received his orders from Mr. Z for a new mission in Mount Vera. He shared the details with Rig, and together with Mia, they meticulously planned their retrieval operation.
Avery revealed that their target was a human-friendly alien faction, the Pleiades, known to be in opposition to the reptilians and demons. Their objective was to retrieve a parcel from the hideout in Mount Vera, guarded by a woman named Custance Roche.
While the mission may have seemed relatively straightforward, they were well aware that the enemy was on high alert. Mia’s intel informed them that the reptilians were also vying for control of the same valuable asset, making their task all the more challenging.
The journey to their destination spanned 150 kilometers, encompassing desolate desert landscapes and treacherous mountainous terrain. Armed with cutting-edge technology, advanced gadgets, and weapons, Avery and Rig prepared for the arduous journey ahead.
They knew that supernatural encounters could lie in wait along their path through the desolate desert lands.
Avery took a moment to brief Rig and Mia about their mission’s unique aspect: This mission brings us into contact with an allied alien race, known as the Pleiades. They are said to be inhabitants of the planet Pleiades. We’ve heard stories about them countless times, but this is our first opportunity to see them in person.
Rig: Absolutely! I’ve been fascinated by the Pleiades since I was a child. It’s going to be an incredible experience to learn more about them firsthand.
Mia: Keep your guard up, everyone. Our destination takes us to a mountain range, and it won’t be an easy mission. The demons of Avalon may be seeking revenge for our past actions.
Rig: Demons? Well, in our last mission, they were no match for us. We are “The Resistance,” after all. Personally, I’ve been fighting them since I was a child, even in my nightmares. Haha!
Mia and Avery exchanged glances, their expressions tinged with sadness. Mia spoke softly, reflecting on their shared experiences: You’re right, Rig. Each of us has endured our own traumas, which is why we’ve come together in this group. We understand the weight of this fight and the importance of standing united against the forces of darkness.
With their council concluded, the trio set their sights on the mission at hand. Avery’s car, equipped with state-of-the-art technology and sensors capable of detecting extraterrestrial life forms, was their mode of transport.
Rig joined Avery in the vehicle, and they embarked on their journey towards Mount Vera. Rig tuned the radio as they drove, maintaining a calm yet focused atmosphere.
Half an hour into their pleasant journey, their sensor alarm abruptly sounded. Avery and Rig exchanged surprised glances, instantly on high alert. They braced themselves for a potential encounter with either reptilians or demons.
The red dot on the sensor indicated a constant pursuit just 40 feet behind them. Avery activated the EMP system, neutralizing the imminent threat by deactivating the camouflage state of their vehicle.
As the pursuers drew closer, the EMP revealed an advanced alien vehicle – a familiar sight used by reptilians in espionage missions. Sensing danger, Avery accelerated, but their rivals proved to be formidable opponents.
Avery activated the back camera display, allowing them to observe their pursuers’ movements. Laser bullets whizzed past Rig’s side as he cautiously poked his head out of the car’s small roof opening.
Reacting swiftly, Rig grabbed his laser piercer sniper, a challenge to his sharpshooting skills honed through years of practice. He instructed Avery to maintain balance while he aimed at the head of the pursuing vehicle’s occupant.
The pursuers continued to fire without being seen, their laser bullets penetrating the car like fiery projectiles. Rig took aim inside the car and soon he poked his head out and fired with precise accuracy, hitting his target’s head.
Suddenly, their pursuers’ vehicle came to a halt. Avery looked at Rig with admiration and exclaimed, “Well done, bro! Your aim was laudable.”
Rig, still in disbelief, questioned! Where and how the attackers had emerged. He warned Avery to remain on guard, anticipating potential further encounters. With the immediate threat neutralized, they resumed their journey towards Mount Vera.
Rig informed Mia about the encounter, causing her worry. Within a few minutes, they arrived at their destination, transitioning from desolate lands to the majestic mountains. Rig checked the location map, confirming that they were nearing their intended destination.
They soon reached a warehouse in a deserted area. Avery parked the car near the warehouse, and together, they entered the facility. They were captivated by the intricate interior decorations.
Before them stood tall individuals with blond hair, blue eyes, and uniquely captivating complexions – unmistakably Pleiadians. Avery recognized Custance Roche as the beautiful lady who welcomed them.
Custance Roche expressed her concern, having been informed of their difficulties during the journey. She greeted them with concern in her voice. “I heard that you encountered some difficulties during your journey. I hope you arrived safely.”
Rig responded with a smile, reassuring her, “Yes, we did face a small problem, but we managed to handle it. It was just a Reptilian UVO.”
Custance Roche’s worry deepened as she contemplated the situation. “Oh! If they’ve already found you, there may be more trouble ahead. We need to stay alert at all times. We have assigned guards to secure the high ground and keep us informed of any potential threats looming in our vicinity.”
Custance Roche signaled two individuals who emerged holding a box. Avery stepped forward to receive it, realizing its significance to Mr. Z. The contents of the box could either be advanced gadgets or relics with immense power capable of trapping demons and jinns.
After a brief conversation, Avery and Rig bid farewell to Custance and her colleagues. As they turned to leave with the box, a loud alarm abruptly sounded, startling everyone in the warehouse. Rig looked at Avery warily as Custance voiced her concern about an impending enemy attack.
The call to prepare quickly reverberated through the room. Rig swiftly retrieved a weapon from the car and handed it to Avery. Custance signaled her colleagues to brace themselves for a fierce battle ahead.
Unbeknownst to the outside world, a hidden war waged between brave warriors of humanity and the evil forces that threatened their existence. They fought not only for themselves but for the sake of the entire world – “The Resistance” standing as the beacon of hope.
And so, with the story set to unfold in the next chapter, Avery and Rig prepared for battle, ready to confront whatever awaited them. The fate of humanity hung in the balance, and their resilience and unwavering determination would be tested time and time again.
