Gameplay
This page explains the battle loop and the mechanics that decide how a fight moves from start to finish.
Core battle loop
- Two cards enter the battle.
- Stats and turn order decide the early pace.
- Abilities, special skills, and ultimates create the swing moments.
- Effects and presentation help the battle feel cinematic.

- Special skills can rescue weak stats if they are carefully designed.
- Ultimates and abilities can overpower raw stats when they are well tuned.
